I am a person who places a high value on people and relationships, on integrity and dedication, and on compassion and restoration.
These ideals were instilled in me by the unconditional love of my parents and their humble, authentic faith. As a Pastor’s daughter I hear all kinds of jokes and mis-perceptions about my upbringing, but I could not have asked for a better life foundation. I am fortunate and, in my opinion, compelled to enrich others.
My business practices flow from these values. I specialize in professional service businesses as well as health and wellness. I provide a high quality service, delivered with kindness, understanding, and consistency.
As a Business major in college, my interests and skills fell mostly into the areas of researching, organizing, and analyzing, and that describes my approach to bookkeeping.
Initially I chose marriage and family over a career, marrying my high-school sweetheart when he returned from military service. I “temporarily” became the office manager of a small architectural firm while my husband started college. The architects tasked me with assuming and overhauling their bookkeeping operation.
As life lobbed its curve balls, I ended up staying thirty years! In that time, I gained a thorough understanding of bookkeeping and became something of an expert on the business end of the practice of architecture.
